The 103.1 Central FM Local Hero Awards took place last Thursday 14 May. Tartan Trader engraved all 17 trophies which were kindly supplied by Source Activewear Limited.

The Local Heroes awards recognise unsung heroes from the Forth Valleys in Scotland during a glamorous ceremony at the Airth Castle Hotel and Spa complex. This is the third year of the awards, which bring together local heroes and some musical entertainment.

Categories included Sportsperson of the Year, a Bravery Award and the Ultimate Local Hero Award. All the winners were nominated by the community and supported by businesses from across Forth Valley.
