If you should find after inspection that the goods you receive are defected or damaged, please follow this procedure to return goods:
Please inform us within 7 days of the delivery, giving us the following information
- Your Name and Address
- Your Order Number
- The item that is damaged or defective
- Details of any problems or damage
If you suspect that the damage may have been caused by the courier/postal service, then please keep the packaging for inspection.
We will then contact you and agree a resolution to the problem. This would be a full refund, a replacement item, or any other mutually agreed resolution.
Where Tartan Trader requests the return of an item, then Tartan Trader will refund any postage incurred, and supply you with a GRN (goods return number).
Please do not send back faulty goods without contacting us first. Tartan Trader will not compensate you for the cost of returning such goods unless you have a GRN.
